GTMS FSAE 2003

The images below were taken at the unveiling of Car 3 on March 13, and at the 2003 Formula SAE competition. GT Motorsports placed 4th out of 129 entrants. Unlike previous years, the weather was somewhat more cooperative. Also, the rules of the event have changed such that the cars are now permitted to run in the wet. In addition to the 4th place overall finish, the team received the first place Altair award for design innovation, and, the 2nd place Bosch award for powetrain development.

How did we pick the car number? We didn't. Since we placed 3rd last year, that's the number we were assigned this year. Next year, we'll be Car 4.
