Unfortunately, we did not have much time to enjoy the idyllic surroundings of our accomodations, Poltalloch Station (www.poltalloch.com). We left early for the competition site, and usually returned near or after dark. We took such opportunities as we could, walking the nearby bush, feeding the 'roos in the paddock in the back, and a few even took advantage of the lake across the "unsealed" (dirt) road that led to the Station.
